Just as our Japanese steel knives are designed for perfection, our returns policy is designed for your peace of mind.

Return & Exchange Eligibility

We accept returns and exchanges for most products within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Item must be in original, unused condition
  • All original packaging must be intact, including boxes, protective materials, and documentation
  • Product must show no signs of wear, damage, or alteration
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) must be provided

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following products cannot be returned or exchanged once opened or used:

  • Bamboo Cutting Boards (due to potential contamination concerns)
  • Cast Iron Cookware (once seasoning process has begun)
  • Any products where original packaging has been damaged or discarded

Defective items are exempt from these restrictions and will be handled according to our warranty policy.

Return & Exchange Process

Follow these simple steps to initiate a return or exchange:

Step 1: Submit Your Request

  • Product name and quantity you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return or exchange
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Receive Authorization & Instructions

Within 2 business days, we’ll email you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed shipping instructions. Please do not ship items back without this authorization.

Step 3: Package and Ship Your Return

Carefully package the item(s) in their original packaging, include all accessories and documentation, and affix the provided return label. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Step 4: Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return (typically within 5-7 business days after arrival), we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or exchange.

Refund Timeline & Method

We process refunds with the same efficiency our chef’s knives bring to your kitchen:

  • Refund Processing Time: 3-5 business days after we receive and approve your return
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Bank Processing: Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

Exchange Policy

If you’d like to exchange an item for a different product (for example, exchanging a 7-piece set for a 16-piece cutlery set):

  • Follow the same return process outlined above
  • Clearly state in your request which product you’d like to exchange for
  • If the exchange item has a higher value, you’ll need to pay the difference
  • If the exchange item has a lower value, we’ll refund the difference
  • Standard shipping fees apply for exchanged items
